Since 1985, TBG has served the Dallas-Fort Worth area with integrity and excellence in construction. The company now serves Texas, Florida, and Ohio and is expanding. A woman-owned company, TBG provides full-service, custom building and remodeling services for medical, dental, residential, commercial, and restaurant facilities. With years of experience coordinating and completing projects, TBG employs a refined and dependable process for tracking, changes, risk management, deliverables, and exceeding client expectations. We are a certified minority owned women business and a certified residential builder/remodeler in the state of Texas.

About the Owner

Carol Shoquist is a professional manager for over 30 years. Her expertise includes management consulting, business operations and administration. Her professional experience includes strategic planning, real estate management, construction, business plan development, start-up company initiatives, and delivery assurance.

Carol is a managing partner for Texas Builders Group, LP, which enables her to provide one-on-one attention to their clients. This personal touch strengthens relationships in today’s market place.

Prior, Shoquist served as an account executive, specializing in both business development and business operations. She was responsible for leading initiatives and supporting client engagements. Her areas of expertise include business integration planning and project budgetary modeling. Her engagements ranged from $230,000 - $25M.

Shoquist earned a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Dallas with an emphasis in finance. She has experience in finance/accounting and practiced as a CPA. In addition, she holds a nursing license in the state of Texas as a registered nurse.

 She has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (Dallas Chapter).
